The primary aim of recruitment is:
*
To get sign ups in the hope for more gospel conversations in a loving community
To ensure each person knows the gospel before they sign up
All of the above
We give away free things (e.g. lollies)
*
only if they sign up
as a way to start a conversation and get to know them
because we are a charity club.
If someone wants to sign up,
*
I enter their details directly into Elvanto
I get them to sign up via the website on their device
I get them to sign up via the website on my device
I write down their name on a paper and hand it to a staff worker.
You have someone new coming to Super Tuesday (or you cannot find his/her name in Elvanto for Attendance). What should you do? Tick all appropriate.
*
Do not add the person. Do not even offer to ask if they want to join. They should already know to join.
Ask if we have their details and if not, would they like to be added to the mailing list.
If they want to sign up, add them directly into Elvanto.
If they want to sign up, get them to sign up via our CU website.
Why should I not enter a new sign-up directly into Elvanto?
*
What? Why shouldnt I? Im trying to make Edmunds life easier.
They will not get the welcome email.
They may not get allocated to a CU leader to followup with a friendly phone call or text.
They may not receive future emails/SMS.
What notes should you add into Elvanto about a followup? Click all that apply.
*
Everything. Hold nothing back. All their personal information for everyone who has access to Elvanto to see.
Information that is helpful for the CU leadership team to see and in the event the follow-up read it, he/she will not feel it is a breach of privacy.
All my personal thoughts about the person. Particularly the frustration of the followup not answering my phone call, my text, my email, my social media message. And how great I am at following up this person.
The methods I have used in trying to contact the person if I have failed to contact them eg. Phone call, email, SMS etc.
Please tick to acknowledge you will do this in follow-up on Elvanto
*
I will mark "complete" once I have successfully established contact (they replied my SMS, picked up my phone call, or I met them)
I will mark "complete" after trying all three means (if available) to contact them through and they have not replied after a week (phone call, SMS, email). I will leave a note in Elvanto.
I will make "pending" after starting one of those three means and have had no repsonse
The followup remains "not started" when I have not started to contact the followup. If I have not started after a few days, the staffworker will follow me up or will directly contact the followup him or herself.
As part of the recruitment team, I am expected to:
*
Roam around the whole time getting sign ups
Sit at the table and look at my phone the whole time
Be friendly and welcoming in whatever situation (whether sitting down or roaming)
Never do any personal stuff during the quiet times. I'm on full alert the whole time.
Some lines I can use to start up a conversation.
*
Would you like to meet Christians on campus?
Would you like to join a Christian club?
Are you a Christian?
Would you like to come to our BBQ (if we have one one) we have on later today?
Once assigned a followup, the best way to followup the person is
*
Send an SMS saying hi with the link to our CU website and leave it as that.
Give the person a phone call.
I must meet in person before it is considered "Complete"
Handwrite a letter and send it via a pigeon.
I should endeavour to follow up the person
*
by the next business day
by two business days
by five business days
by one month
If the follow-up does not respond the first time I should...
*
Shake the dust off my feet as a testimony against him or her
I should call every hour on the hour until he or she does pick up
Try other means (SMS, phone, email) available and if still no response then mark it as "Complete". Leave a note in Elvanto.
Who's kingdom are we growing at RMIT?
*
My own kingdom
God's kingdom
